About Us

Alissa and I have known each other since High School. We never actually went to school together, but I was friends with Alissa's older brother James and her neighbor Lenzi Bowman. So I knew her (and she was secretly in love with me! Ha Ha!!) So when I got back from serving a mission in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Mission I saw Alissa around in the college ward and at my first Christmas home from BYU-Idaho Alissa and I started doing a few things with each other. Yet, this wasn't able to last long as I was back to school after a couple of weeks. (I did however call here about a month later as I was driving through Twin Falls to go to a Carbon Leaf concert in Boise at the Big Easy to see if she wanted to come with me, she however "doesn't remember" and "doesn't believe me" :), in her defense thought she didn't answer... or call me back...) But when that summer came around and I was back in Twin Falls it didn't take long for us to find each other.
It happened to be my birthday and my family was all gone (off to a dinner for Devon's football team). So I was left to head off to the single's ward Family Home Evening! Yipee!! This was a last effort to salvage something fun and worthwhile of the day. So when I get there who comes up to talk to me? You got it Alissa! So we played a high skilled game of catch with the Frisbee ;) and Alissa told me that Lenzi and I needed to invite her to do something. Therefore, less then 24 hours later I called Lenzi and said that we needed to do something and I called Alissa and invited her along. Alissa came late (because she was on a date with someone else). The next day we went to Dairy Queen afte Alissa got off work and ran into the guy she was on a date with the night before (of course I was oblivious to all of this at the time) and then we went and watched a movie at here house with her dad. And the rest is history, we spent nearly everyday together (minus a few lonely trips to California, one for each of us).
We eventually decided to get married and had planned on getting married in April or May after Alissa and I were both done with the next school year, but after a week of school and me being in Rexburg and her in Twin Falls. We were engaged to be married in December.
We were married in the Logan Utah temple for time and all eternity and have been blessed and happy ever since.
We lived in Rexburg for three months in a nice little hole the froze over because of the lack of insulation once a week!! (as you can tell it was a great place to start out!!) After school was out we moved back to Twin for the summer and we both worked while we stayed in Alissa's parent's upstairs.
We are now in Rexburg for school again in an apartment that is much better then our previous hole and it is unlikely that it will freeze over because it has been built since the invention of modern insulation! Alissa works as a Paraeducator at the St. Anthony Pre-school and I am planning to work as a soccer coach and referee as soon as school starts! The End.... for now!
